Sounder Sleep System.


For those suffering from insomnia, learning to use natural breathing and tiny movements can be beneficial for lulling the body and mind off to sleep.  Developed by Feldenkrais Practitioner, Michael Krugman, the Sounder Sleep System is a gentle, easy to learn way of reducing stress and insomnia.


Deborah is an authorized teacher of the Sounder Sleep System and is available to provide introductory workshops or class series.


Aromatherapy for bodyworkers and enthusiasts.


Aromatherapy is the use of fragrant essential oils to benefit body, mind and spirit.  Deborah has completed professional aromatherapy certification with the American College of Health Studies and done additional study in clinical aromatherapy.  


Workshops are available from short courses of one day or less on use of essential oils for emotional or physical first aid or longer trainings of up to 50 hours for massage therapists.

Continuing Education for Yoga Teachers and Serious Students.


Portions of the Yoga Teacher Training program are suitable for serious yoga students who want to deepen their own practice or who are considering entering the training program in the future.  They may also be taken by yoga teachers for continuing education to improve certain areas of understanding to enhance teaching skills.  Please inquire for more information about when segments will be offered.  Those that may be taken without enrolling for the entire training include:


  • Yoga Anatomy will cover the body systems, intellectually and experientially, usually with about an hour of classroom discussion followed by a yoga class that incorporates some of what you just learned in the practice.  
  • Sanskrit and Vedic Chanting classes will be offered on a space-available basis.
  • Yoga Sutras study will be offered in 9 segments.
  • Other courses may be offered if there is sufficient interest in a particular area of study.
