Intro to Pilates Equipment Class
For complete newbies. Covers equipment setup, safety, basic movement principles, and beginner exercises. Especially helpful for those who've never used Pilates equipment before.
Beginner Pilates Equipment Class
Form-focused beginner series. At least 1–2 private sessions are recommended first, but brand new students are welcome to try. Focuses on proper movement and breath.
Beginner/Intermediate Pilates Equipment
Bridging the gap between beginner and intermediate work. A good step up once you're comfortable with the beginner series and ready for more challenge.
Dynamic Beginner/Intermediate
For more fit students. Moves dynamically through the Pilates repertoire at a good pace. Students should know equipment settings and be acquainted with basic breathing and movement principles.
Intermediate Pilates Equipment Class
For students already comfortable with beginner exercises, ready to progress to intermediate work with more challenge and variety.
Intermediate/Advanced Pilates Equipment
For students proficient with beginner to intermediate exercises. Includes advanced and super-advanced exercises. Do not sign up until familiar with intermediate work.
Beginner CoreAlign Class
Want the balance-building benefits of CoreAlign but need something solid to hold onto? This class uses the wooden ladder for most exercises. Max 3 students. Build strength and balance without worrying about falls.
CoreAlign Class
Invented by a physiotherapist for gait improvement. Uses independently-moving carts with resistance bands to strengthen arms, legs, and core. Great for athletic performance and improving coordination.
Pilates Mat Class
Core strength — all abdominals, back, hips, and shoulders — plus flexibility, balance, and focus. Exercises performed on Pilates mats using small props (balls, weights, bands, foam rollers). No need to bring mats or props.
Seniors Pilates Mat, Chair and Tower Class
For seniors 65+. 45-minute class with exercises selected from mat, chair, and tower repertoire to build and maintain balance, muscle, and bone strength as we age. Mindful of osteoporosis, vertigo, and other age-related conditions.
YUR Back Pilates Class
Specific approaches and props for those suffering from back pain and spinal conditions. Based on the YUR Back program developed by Pilates teachers and physical therapists in Pittsburgh. Builds abdominal strength while teaching safe movement for the spine.
